BACKGROUND:
Bomac Animal Health was originally founded as PharmTech. The merger between Bomac and PharmTech occurred on the 1st of July 2006. PharmTech was formed by a number of experienced veterinary sales & marketing personnel in 1998 after a significant market niche was identified. The niche was simple, as the larger multinational firms continued to rationalise; there would be products, too small for the large companies, which would eventually need distributors. It would also provide the founders with a wonderful opportunity to control their own destiny.
Armed with extensive experience in the Animal Health industry in Australia and abroad, PharmTech Pty Limited was incorporated in 1998. Bomac Laboratories Limited (New Zealand) signed up as a significant shareholder in the new company and at the same time, Bomac also assigned PharmTech as their exclusive distributor of their products in Australia.
Since 1998, Pharm Tech's sales and product range have grown strongly. In the last few years many products have been registered by the APVMA and there are an abundance of new products in the pipeline.

Bomac currently operates in the Animal Health market in Australia, with products for:

- Sheep
PRODUCT PIPELINE:
Bomac is in the unusual position of having a very strong pipeline of new products coming to market over the next few years. These products include products from all suppliers as well as products developed and registered by Bomac.
